I believe that we are all sinners in need of a Savior. Nothing we do can get us to heaven. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
God sent His only Son to take the punishment we deserve and make a way for us to go to heaven. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
If you believe that you are a sinner in need of a Savior and confess that Jesus is Lord you will be saved. Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
What Really matters
God found me as an un-repentant enemy, softened my heart and bought me with His precious blood. Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 3:23, & John 14:6. May I always say with Job,
“Oh, that my words were written! Oh, that they were inscribed in a book! That they were engraved on a rock With an iron pen and lead, forever! For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth; And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, That in my flesh I shall see God, Whom I shall see for myself, And my eyes shall behold, and not another. How my heart yearns within me! Job 19:23-27.
